Graduate Recognition Sunday

Congratulations to those graduating from high school, college and

technical school.

We can use everyone’s help for VBS! It is the week of June 11 thru June 15,

9 to 12:15. We are recruiting Dive Captains and assistants

Here is what we still need:

Nursery workers

Kitchen snack Coordinators (2)

3^rd grade teachers

6^th grade teachers

Female member of Drama team

More adults/youth to assist in every area

Help putting up/taking down decorations!

Registrations may be printed on line and there are copies in the lobby of the Education building and outside Room 209 in the Main building.

Friends and neighbors are welcome!

Teachers/asst. meeting June 5 at 7 p.m.

New Christ Care Groups

Several New ChristCare Groups are forming

Linda Stoker will be facilitating a Book Club on the 3rd Tuesday of every month in Room 105 (Main Building) from 11am to 12:30pm. Bring a sack lunch and come enjoy fellowship and great discussion over a variety of books! Paula Bowers will convene a group of young adult couples, with or without children. Call Paula at 913-829-1837, if you are interested in being part of a group of couples. The time and place of meeting will be set at the convenience of those interested in participation.

Marilyn Gregory will also lead a new Christ Care Group, "Friends and Followers of Jesus ChristCare", meeting on the second and fourth Tuesday evenings, 7 to 8:30pm, beginning February 7, in Room 105. The group will begin with activities that help members know and care for one another, and then will move to both the discussion of and the practice of being "Friends and Followers of Jesus.
