Lenexa UMC provides rich and varied opportunities for children to grow in relationship to God and as followers of Jesus. Knowing that children learn in different ways, we invite children to play, move, sing, create, act, and serve. The stories of the Bible are told through activities that engage multiple senses.

Kids Connect Sunday School

5 years old–5th grade

We meet in the sanctuary every Sunday and after the children’s moment we walk together to the Education Building. After an opening time including music, Preschool and Kids Connect Sunday School separate for their lesson. Adults can pick up after worship in the Education Building on the 2nd floor.

Over the summer (June 7 – August 23, 2026) children’s Sunday School meets only at 9:00 a.m. Families are invited to worship together at the 8:00 a.m. Worship in the Park or the 10:30 a.m. combined worship in the Sanctuary. Nursery Care is available at 9:00 and 10:15 a.m. Learn more about summer worship here.

VBS

Vacation Bible School
