WORSHIP for THIS WEEK
JULY 19
7TH  SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST
“The Parable of Neglect”
Matthew 13:24-30; 17:15-16

Weeds and wheat is kind of a scary parable, if you think about it. It’s easy to talk about God’s grace—God’s loving acceptance of the unworthy. But we are left with these harsher teachings of our Master. Some people are like wheat; some are like weeds. Wheat goes in the barn; weeds go in the furnace. I don’t know about you, but I want to be wheat. I don’t want to end up in the furnace with the weeds.

Rev. Ezekiel Koech preaching.
YSF OFFERING

This Sunday we are taking a special offering for the Youth Service Fund. YSF is money that is raised by youth to support projects led by youth. 70% of funds are retained within the conference and 30% of funds support UMC youth projects globally. When giving online, select Youth Service Fund from the dropdown list to support this special offering.
GRADUATION SUNDAY

This Sunday we are honoring the graduating Seniors (both high school and college) in the 9:00 a.m. service and “roasting’” the high school seniors at 10:30 in Schneeberger Hall. Congratulations graduates!
