Meet Rev. Ezekiel Koech
Meet the Koech Family!
Rev. Ezekiel Koech is an ordained elder in the Great Plains UMC Conference. He is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. He graduated with Master of Divinity and Master of Theology in Mission and Evangelism. While he was a student at Asbury Seminary, he was a pastor at Boyd UMC. After that, he and his family moved to Nebraska to pastor both Lodgepole and Chappell UMC. In 2015, he was appointed to Russell Trinity UMC, where he has been a pastor untill June this year.
Ezekiel and his wife Alice are originally from Kenya and they have three children. Roy is a senior at Fort Hays State University and will graduate in May. Roy has been accepted to be one of the 2019 Global Mission Fellows of the UMC and will be serving in Philadelphia beginning in August. Abigail is a senior at Russell High School, and she will graduate in May. She will be attending KU in Lawrence, Kansas. Zach is a 7th grader at Ruppenthal Middle School.
They are looking forward to knowing the people of Lenexa and serving the Lord with us. Rev. Ezekiel’s first Sunday at Lenexa UMC will be July 7th, preaching at all 3 services. Please join us as we come together to worship the Lord and welcome Rev. Ezekiel Koech and his family.
