Make sure to join us on Saturday night, June 29, at the Grand Pavilion at Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park. Bring your own picnic supper at 6:00 for a great time of fellowship. Mary Clow has organized games for the children and the Lenexa Historical Society has arranged for the Conestoga wagon to be on display, along with two reenactors. At 7:00, we will experience the past through music and historical reenactments with a visit from Octave Chanute (the engineer who platted Lenexa), along with the five women who founded the church, and various pastors as we look at Lenexa UMC Through the Years
This is a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors to join us. Hope to see you Saturday night at the park and then Sunday in worship as our grand celebration continues.
