Fifth Week of Lent – Pi Day at Pulled Pork Paradise, & more at LUMC this week!

Week of March 13, 2018 – In This Issue:

SUNDAY MARCH 18 – FIFTH SUNDAY OF LENT*
“Dying to Live”
Pastor Peggy Hillmon Preaching

As Jesus moves closer to “his hour,” it is clear that he is conflicted about following God’s call. Still, he chooses to put God’s will before his own, choosing death that all might live.

*During the Lenten season, you might notice scarcity in the pomp and circumstance of worship – this is intentional as we contemplate this season of wandering in the wilderness, and what it means to follow Jesus with our lives.

Operation Eden

OPERATION EDEN UPDATE
Restoring our property

We are in the final stretch of receiving gifts to go toward Operation Eden – Lenexa UMC’s Landscaping Campaign. The Property Management Team is looking forward to “sprucing” up the east side of our property.

Please send your gifts toward Operation Eden by
Palm Sunday – March 25th in order for the Property Management Team to plan accordingly.
